Booking Policies

Disclaimer & Policies

Effective date: [effective date] · Last updated: [date]

A clear, friendly summary of how booking works — deposits, cancellations, skin safety, results, and photos. These are summaries; the full, binding terms are in the contract you sign when you book.

01Deposit, retainer & payment

To reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit (retainer) of [amount or % — e.g. 30%] is required at the time of booking. Your date is not held until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due [when — e.g. 14 days before the event / on the day of service]. The deposit goes toward your total and reserves the date exclusively for you, which is why it is non-refundable.

02Cancellation & rescheduling

Life happens — here's how changes work:

03Skin, allergies & patch testing

Please tell us about your skin before your appointment. Let us know about any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or recent treatments. A patch test is available on request and is recommended if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

Cosmetic products can, in rare cases, cause irritation or an allergic reaction even when applied carefully. By booking, you confirm you have disclosed any known allergies or skin conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for reactions, irritation, or other skin issues that occur despite reasonable care, including reactions to products you have not previously had a problem with. If you experience any reaction during or after your service, stop and seek medical advice if needed.

04Results & expectations

We bring professional skill, quality products, and genuine care to every face. That said, makeup results vary from person to person and depend on factors like skin type and condition, lighting, photography, wear time, weather, and personal preference. We cannot guarantee a specific result or that a look will appear identical to a photo or another person's makeup. Your trial (for bridal) is the time to refine the look together so the wedding day goes smoothly.

05Timeliness & on-location

For on-location services, please make sure we have accurate address and timing details, parking or access, and a clean, well-lit space to work. Delays caused by incorrect information, access issues, or a late start on the client's side may shorten available time or affect the schedule.

06Photography & portfolio use

We love sharing our work. Before using any photos of you in our portfolio, website, or social media, we will ask for your permission, and you can decline. [If you ask clients to sign a photo/model release, say so here — e.g. "A short photo-release section is included in your booking contract; you may opt out."] Photos of minors will only be used with a parent or guardian's written permission.

07Health & safety

For everyone's safety, please reschedule if you are unwell or have an active contagious skin or eye condition (such as conjunctivitis or a cold sore in the application area). We reserve the right to decline service where there's a health or safety concern, and our cancellation policy will be applied reasonably in those cases.

08The contract controls

This page is a plain-English summary to help you understand how we work. The binding terms of your booking are in the service agreement / contract you sign. If anything here differs from your signed contract, your signed contract applies.
